Welcome to the Dela Rama Dental Blog — Real Answers to Real Questions About Your Teeth

May 4th, 2026

If you're here, you're probably someone who wants to actually understand what's going on in your mouth — not just hear "you need a filling" and move on. That's exactly why I started this blog.

Every day in the office, I spend a lot of time explaining things. Why something is happening. What the options are. What actually works long-term versus what's just a temporary fix. And over time, I kept thinking: this information would be so useful beyond the four walls of the exam room.

So here we are.

This blog is going to be a place where our entire office can break things down in a way that makes sense for patients— no jargon, no lectures, just straightforward answers to questions we hear constantly from real patients. We'll all contribute areas we specialize in: whether it's what's happening in your or your family member's mouth, questions on oral hygiene, we'll even tackle front office questions.

What We'll Be Talking About

We are going to cover a mix of topics, mostly centered around the areas where our office sees patients struggling the most — or where there's a lot of confusion about what's actually going on. Here's a preview of what's coming:

  • TMJ/TMD and jaw pain — This is probably the most misunderstood condition I treat. A lot of people have been dealing with jaw soreness, clicking, headaches, or a limited range of motion for years and don't realize it's connected to their bite. We'll get into what's actually causing it and what options exist.
  • Esthetic bonding with Bioclear — If you've got gaps, worn-down teeth, or shapes you've never loved, Bioclear is one of the more elegant solutions out there. It's minimally invasive, looks incredibly natural, and most people don't even know it's an option.
  • Invisalign and bite correction — A lot of patients come in thinking Invisalign is just about straightening teeth cosmetically. But bite correction is a big part of what we use it for, and it can genuinely change how comfortable your jaw feels day to day.
  • Your growing child's teeth — and all the questions that come with them — When do baby teeth fall out? Is my toddler's crowding something to worry about, or will it sort itself out? What's the deal with pacifiers and whether they're actually causing damage? And why is my kid grinding their teeth at night? These are questions I hear from parents all the time, and I want to give honest, practical answers — not just "wait and see."
  • Other dentistry that affects more than just your smile — Because honestly, your teeth affect your sleep, your jaw, your confidence, and your overall health more than most people realize. We'll cover all of it.

My Promise to You

I'm not going to make things more complicated than they need to be. But I'm also not going to oversimplify things when the details actually matter. Some dental decisions are genuinely complex, and I'd rather give you real information than a watered-down version that leaves you more confused.

My goal is that you leave every post feeling like you actually learned something — and maybe feeling a little more confident when you sit down in that chair.

Let's Make This a Conversation

If there's something specific you've been wondering about — a symptom you're not sure about, a procedure you've heard of but don't understand, or a question you felt awkward asking at your last appointment — drop it in the comments. That's genuinely how I want to shape what we cover here.

Thanks for being here. More to come soon.
