Meet Dr. Andrew A. Dela Rama

Dr. Andrew A. Dela Rama earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise & Sport Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of San Francisco in 2000, graduating from the Pre-Physical Therapy program. He completed a post-baccalaureate program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) before pursuing his dental education at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. Following his return to his hometown of South San Francisco, Dr. Andrew expanded his clinical expertise with advanced certifications in Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) treatment and esthetic dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute. He graduated with honors from Progressive Orthodontic Seminars, where he trained extensively in both full bracket and clear aligner orthodontics.

Dr. Andrew integrates his background in physical therapy into his dental practice, particularly in the treatment of TMD and orthodontics. His approach combines myofunctional therapy and soft tissue manipulation with traditional dental and orthodontic techniques, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. He has lectured nationally on TMD, clear aligner orthodontics, and the integration of emerging dental technologies.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Andrew enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Dr. Marjorie, and their two daughters, Maddie and Averie. He is passionate about fitness, having completed marathons and triathlons across the country, and currently holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
